what up what up? just wanted to share another new joint with you guys! it's a remix of my boy Kill The Noise's super catchy tune "Hey You" and it's my latest work! i really kept a lot of the same vibe from the original and just upgraded it a bit with some of my own style, guitar distortions on synths and some acid tweaky stuff blah blah blah what ever, what ever.

Sooooooooo smooooooooooth. The Junior Boys are back with a new single, 'No Kinda Man'. These tracks are the kind of songs where you can throw them on repeat and get lost in the whole experience without even realizing that you've heard the same track over and over for the past two hours. The Junior Boys have always been mesmerizing providing their drug-free version of a 'trip' flexing the power of music over the human mind. Whoa this is getting complicated (but that's because i have the tracks on repeat while i'm writing this). Maybe i should have listened to Junior Boys during study sessions instead of classical music….or at least their Body Language mixtape.

hey guys just wanted to share the latest remix from my new project Lies In Disguise which features my self (Le Castle Vania) and Blake Miller (of Moving Units and Weird Science) this time around we took on The Toxic Avenger’s tune Poker Face. We really went for a nice dirty vibe on this one with a hard crunchy bass line with some nice builds and hard drops then of course i threw in some nice tweaky acid synths for good measure ;). any way i hope you dig the tune! i've been playing it out quite a bit an its been doing very well on the dance floors!

Jack Stuart (his real name) is from Bournemouth, England and the music he was exposed to in the underground fidget scene influenced his sound and almost as soon as his music started he was getting attention of the shot callers from all over the country…His track "Get Ready" was Number One on Juno's Tech/Minimal chart for weeks. "New Jack Heights" is blowing up on the charts, his side project with Velox Music, "Bass Projection" has already been signed; are you feeling what I'm saying? Watch his name…you'll see more for sure!
Joke or not, the name "Fidget House" for the sound fit. I love it! It makes bodies move. It makes floors shake. It makes mixers go red! Sometimes I forget about searching out the gems in my own backyard. I met The Knux through a mutual friend at a downtown warehouse party and even though the party was filled with underaged hipsters, it didn't stop these hip-hop guys from dancing to 'Sandstorm' and 'Does It Offend You Yeah!'. They proceeded to tell me how their unique hip hop sound came about due to the fact that they listen to a little bit of everything, self-produce their own tracks and play their own instruments. A versatile, multi-influenced hip hop group? who would'a thought…. It's nice to hear that big labels are appreciating quality music because they've been singled out and signed to Interscope (maybe that's how they snagged a spot playing at Rachel Ray's SXSW party a few weeks ago, haha).
And for all you La-La-Landers, these guys are playing TONITE (wed march 26th) at The Echo…

Cazals Cazals Cazals and more Cazals. These guys hit the jackpot when they signed with Kitsune because not only is the boutique label pushing their tracks in all the right places, they are hooking up the band with up and coming ace remixers like Munich's Moulinex, French synthmasters Lifelike and and London blog babies Blamma! Blamma!. This Lifelike remix has a bit of a cosmic touch to it choppy synth beats and clapping-esque high hats. (yes i like to make up my own descriptive words) It's a perfect fit for the Cazals vocals that are so reminiscent of the Psychedelic Furs.
This round, Kitusne is releasing two pressings of the single on May 5th, followed by the full length release later in the month. The 7" is going to have a special track 'Success' included, and the 12" will have all the electronic remixes….just another reason to pick up both.
