In New York, there is a very high ratio of bands to people.
As I took my nightly stroll through the East Village a few weeks ago I reminisced about this particular part of the city; the passing cars whizzed and the street vendors yelled over the noise. As I looked to my left I saw a traditional New York couple dressed in his and her trenchcoats, they seemed like the Wall Street type. As I glanced over to my right there was a familiar face, faces rather, that I had become familiar with during my tween years, Flogging Molly. Not knowing what to do I hailed a taxi, I needed to get away from this band before I felt compelled to ask them questions. A yellow chariot came to a screeching halt just before me so I ran around the side and hopped in. There was a man sitting next to me in the backseat, he smiled, I pulled out my camera. It was Kap10kurt and our dangerseeking mission of the night had just begun. Check it out.
